Sleeping at same time is good for health
The timing of sleep is as important as how much you finally sleep; researchers at the Washington State University say.
Though the experiments were carried out in mice, it has significant implications for modern living in humans.
The sleep-disrupted mice had blunted immune responses making them potentially less able to fight illness and more likely to get sick.
Ilia Karatsoreos, assistant professor and researcher said, ‘Sleep disruption represents a very clear dysregulation of the sleep system. Over time, this could have serious consequences for an organism’s health’.
Hence it is important to sleep at the same time to remain healthy.
