Reverse Walking

Also called as Retro Walking (RW),  Reverse Walking is an ancient Chinese tradition that is being considered good for health.

RW is a big hit in Japan. It is catching up everywhere and is being done in more than 20 locations across the globe.

RW is reasonably strenuous and so burns sufficient calories.

It sharpens the senses and, improves balance and vision.

One takes shorter and slower steps while RW and so the impact on the joints is lesser.

One warning though, keep your knees straight (do not bend them) and choose a clear path while RW.

Benefits:

Although it may be folklore, 100 back steps equals 1000 forward steps

Improves balance and vision

Is good for hips and legs

Improves brain function especially that dealing with clarity
