Most miserable day
Any guesses for the most miserable day. Yes…it is the first Monday after the New Year.
According to researchers who have analysed more than 2 million tweets over the past 3 years it is the first Monday back from work when people post the most negative tweets.
Tweets mention about guilt as people abandon their new year’s resolutions and return to the daily grind of work.
Also, about 1.8 million couples would have argued at some point over the festive period on issues such as finances, drinking habits, in-laws and household chores.
In another study, the researchers say that the happiest days of the year are Christmas Eve and the Christmas, followed by New Year’s Day and the Valentine’s Day.
There will be cultural differences though as this is a study from U.K.
