Managing double chin
Double chin is the unnecessary flab in the neck. Surgery is one options but you could try homemade remedies too.
CHEWING A SUGAR-FREE GUM: This is also an exercise of the face which tones your face muscles. It also results in healthier teeth and gums. Chew several times a day to get results.
COCOA BUTTER: Massage gently a little cocoa butter on your throat and chin before going to bed or before going for a shower. It also improves the elasticity of the skin.
WHEAT GERM OIL: Wheat germ oil is a another easy way to get your chin in shape. Regular massages with wheat germ oil helps to tighten the skin and also provides ample nourishment. Before going to bed, rub some wheat germ oil gently on your neck and throat. Massage for 20 minutes upwards from the bottom of the neck to the chin. Leave the oil overnight for best results.
EGG WHITE: You can make a homemade facial mask to eliminate double chin fast with the help of egg whites. To make this, you need egg whites of two eggs, a tablespoon of milk, small amount of peppermint essential oil, one tablespoon of honey , and one tablespoon of lemon juice. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk it. Now apply this mask to the skin around your chin and neck area and allow it to dry for about forty-five minutes. Once dry , rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do this once daily to enjoy quick results.
WATER: This might sound a far-fetched plan but water plays an important role in helping to lose weight and reduce the appearance of double chin. Studies have shown that lack of water can add weight to the face. Drinking at least 10-12 glasses of water daily is necessary . Keeping the body hydrated is important and so is flushing out all the unwanted toxins.
GLYCERIN: Make a natural mask with glycerin to get rid of double chin. Mix one tablespoon of glycerin, half tablespoon of bath salts and a few drops of rose water. Apply the mixture directly to the neck and chin area. Leave it for fifteen minutes. Wash the area thoroughly with tap water. Do this thrice a week.
