Loneliness, materialism and wellness
Loneliness may cause materialism, but it is not true vice-versa, a new study has found. It means materialism does not cause loneliness.
It is the author’s view that loneliness is not good for health and wellness. The materialism that loneliness causes may doubly impact health and wellness negatively. The over-indulgence in unhealthy lifestyles due to materialism and the stress of loneliness is a potent combination to negatively impact health and wellness.
After achieving materialism, the lonely individual should exercise healthy lifestyle choices and try to socialise unpretensiously.
