Iced tea has lots of sugar
Iced tea is a chilled tea, usually taken by those who do not want to have a can of Coke.
Little do people know that iced tea is sweetened with sugar and/or flavored with syrup.
It is popular in various forms and flavors around the world, and this means the sugar content can vary.
However, most commercially prepared iced teas will contain around 33 grams of sugar per serving of 12-oz (or 340 ml), which is about the same as a can of Coke.
If you like tea, pick regular tea or choose iced tea that doesn’t have any sugars added.
