Coriander leaves can prevent anemia

Coriander contains enough amounts of iron to be able to prevent anemia. If coriander is used in most of the Indian meals it should be able to prevent anemia even at a community level. Coriander is used as seasoning agent (raw cut leaves), as chutney (grind and mixed with other spices), or mixed with foods (omelette, biryani, etc.). Written by Dr. Ajay Sati.
