Chocolates: to have less abdominal fat

Most of us are aware that chocolates contain flavonols which are antooxidants and have anti-inflammatory effect that can help prevent heart disease.

Researchers in the University of Granada in Spain recently discovered that eating chocolates in moderate amounts  is associated with lower body fat and less abdominal fat. This effect is independent of how much (or little) you exercise and regardless of the rest of your diet.

The researchers followed nearly 1,500 European kids between the ages of 12 and 17 and found that the more chocolate they ate (without overindulging), the lower their body mass index and waist circumference became.

The research means that you can indulge in eating chocolates, do no exercise and do no modification in your exisitng diet; yet slim down and have less fat in the abdomen.
