Catnap in office to improve productivity and safety
Research from University of Michigan has indicated that employers who provide nap pods in the workplace or offer extended break time may find their employees more productive.
The researchers found that taking a nap may be an effective strategy to even counteract impulsive behavior and to boost tolerance for frustration. Many a times, adults are not sleeping an entire night, and this can negatively impair a person’s attention span and memory, as well as contribute to fatigue, the researchers said.
The researchers also said that napping may also be a cost-efficient and easy strategy to improve productivity and workplace safety.
