Workouts should confuse your brain
May sound a bit weird to some, but whatever workouts you do should be able to confuse your brain. The brain does not like to do the same pattern of exercise everyday.
How do you confuse the brain? Simple, bring variety to your workouts.
Confusing the body is one of the principles of weight training – also called instinctive training. It is a shift from doing something that your body is used to and hence good to try something new.
The body adapts quickly and hence variations in exercise patterns should change frequently. The variations shakes up things and leads to more fat being burned in addition to muscle mass being built.
It is well known that the chance of success are great when a workout regime has variety.
Remember, diet is important too, especially if you also want to lose weight.
