Exercise: how much is enough
Most international guidelines now recommend at least 30 minutes of daily physical activity to reduce the risk of chronic disease in adulthood and older years.
Being physically active for 30 minutes daily will help maintain ideal body weight and lead to health benefits like lowered risk of heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and osteoporosis, to name a few.
You can take breaks in between the exercise or even exercise for as low as 3 (three) minutes to get its health benefits. It’s not about something is better than nothing, but it actually helps even to exercise in small bits many times a day.
