Breastfeeding may reduce obesity risk

According to a new Japanese study, breastfeeding is linked to a reduced risk of obesity among school children.

This was revealed by Michiyo Yamakawa and team of the the Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan.

The researchers found that exclusive breastfeeding at 6 to 7 months of age was associated with decreased risk of overweight and obesity.
