Aloe vera useful in reducing acne marks
Aloe vera is a plant known worldwide for its beneficial effects on skin. It’s another name is aloe barbadensis.
The difficulty is in growing the plant in space-starved homes in cities – and even more difficult is getting pure aloe vera for cosmetic use.
The aloe vera plant is about 99% water, the remaining 1% being the active ingredient.
The quantity of the active ingredient in aloe vera preparation intended for use should be sufficient enough for its benefits to be seen.
In a fast-paced world, it will be not only difficult to make a fresh preparation of aloe vera for skin use, it is also more expensive; although fresh use of the gel from the plant would have the active ingredients of aloe vera in its purest form and in amounts to be known to be most beneficial to the user.
I had tried aloe vera of various brands in the past, but was not getting relief in getting rid of my acne (pimple) marks, so much so that I had given up on the efficacy of aloe vera.
A few weeks ago, I accidently hit up on a herbal shaving gel by Patanjali Ayurved Limited (the brand ambassador being Yog guru Ramdev baba).
I have been using the shaving gel manufactured by Patanjali and found it to be extremely beneficial – the acne marks have all almost disappeared. While reading its content I realized that this shaving gel contains aloe vera as its dominating ingredient.
Even though the shaving gel mentioned in the brand above contains much less of aloe vera per ml than in the facewash made by the same manufacturer, it was found to be useful in getting rid of the acne marks..
Men, who shave, and have acne marks may use the shaving gel as mentioned above – while women or even men may use the aloe vera facewash by the same manufacturer to get rid of acne marks.
Note: Use any brand of aloe vera to get rid of acne marks – if they do not reduce or disappear, try the brand mentioned above.
