  • Carbs: foods rich in carbohydrates complement dairy foods by increasing the level of sleep-inducing tryptophan in the blood. A bowl of cereal and milk, yogurt, bread, cheese may help
  • Eggs: are rich in tryptophan
  • Honey: puts you to sleep due to its high tryptophan content
