Try cloves for intestinal gas
Cloves (lavang in Hindi) relax the smooth lining of the intestines and thus can help alleviate intestinal gas. So if you have chronic intestinal gas issues, it may be worthwhile to try chewing some cloves daily.
In addition, cloves may also help in recovering from a bout of vomiting and/or diarrhea.
