Gym regulars swear by the cardio and the metal they pump. On the other hand, those who do yoga claim it is a complete form of exercise including for the mind.

The author believes that it is best to combine yoga along with the gym-based exercise that have focus on cardio and muscle development.

However, yoga also can achieve these objectives; in addition yoga also brings about flexibility in the body along with peace of mind.

However Pranayam (bhastrika, kapaal bhaati and anulom vilom) along with Surya Namaskar is yoga and should be done daily.

On alternate days one can do the gym-based physical exercise and the other day weights.
