8 ways to manage the difficult post-lunch hours at work
In the morning hours at work we wait for lunchtime. Although a great break, after lunch we tend to feel sleepy.
Here are 8 ways to keep awake after lunch;
- Dab some citrus, jasmine or peppermint oil on your hands and temples. Do not use lavender oil as it will make you sleepy
- Get into some loud thinking with your coworker
- Chewing gum is supposed to freshen you up
- Solve a puzzle
- Splash water on your face or rub ice cube around your wrist / temples
- Go out in the open for a short walk – you have been in for far too long
- Laugh…just chill
- Even while in office find time to move around and view a distant object
