Tiredness: reasons & remedies
If even a good night is making you feel tired the entire day consider the following:
- Dehydration
- Drink enough water (making sure urine is colorless)
- Thyroid disease
- Check thyroid and if low take medicines lifelong under medical supervision
- Anemia
- Check hemoglobin. Eat iron containing foods
- Emotional stress
- Learn to manage stress
- Sedentary lifestyle
- Be active
- Adrenal fatigue (chronic fatigue syndrome)
- Fatigue that remains after even after good sleep. Be active, eat nourishing foods, take multi-vitamins
- Depression
- Have realistic expectations, check hormones, manage stress levels, expose to sunlight
- Sleep quality
- Be active. Exercise. Have a fixed sleep time
- Poor diet
- Have nourishing diet. Avoid junk foods
These are just pointers in case you have tiredness – if you do not improve trying the suggestions as above, I would recommend seeing your doctor so that a more focused treatment can be prescribed without losing time.
